Some people say sex during pregnancy is the best sex they've ever had, so it would stink to miss out on a whole trimester's worth.

But on the other hand, you're not that far from the end of the first trimester, right? Any other "normal" pregnant woman would probably not be told to abstain. There's no harm to the baby. I might have a more detailed talk with the doctor (instead of the nurse) at the next appt if I were in your position. Now what the hell is that?!?!? So we waited until 10 weeks than we decided we could not wait any longer. The first time was so scary because we wanted to be as gentle as possible.. now we don't think about it anymore! Speak to your RE just in case he has a different view from the nurse's! And, um, well, I had a lot last week during my week 5 (ok, and we were on vacation and it was both my birthday and the husbands' - hee hee!) So, I guess I'm really surprised they told you no sex during first trimester. Unless there's something they're particularly concerned about? Have you made an appointment with an OB yet? Maybe they'd have a different opinion?HopeBPatienthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05594281959818334437noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6073547614166371090.post-18719168539103003602010-06-07T19:54:24.994-05:002010-06-07T19:54:24.994-05:00It still scares the crap out of me.It still scares the crap out of me.jenicinihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16361606793108116475noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6073547614166371090.post-18683570588092901662010-06-07T19:14:19.298-05:002010-06-07T19:14:19.298-05:00Ugh.
