I can totally understand you being scared of a BFP after your experiences, but nevertheless I'm sorry to hear about your BFN.

I don't think you're jumping ahead of yourself to go straight to IVF. The success rate is much higher than IUI, and BFNs month after month take an enormous emotional toll. Since you have the insurance now, maybe you can do another IUI (or 2, hopefully not needed) and begin the search for another doctor or get the ball rolling with Dr. Sher. Just an idea. Keep the positive thinking up and keep moving forward...it's what keeps us sane. They will also know how to manage your Lovenox and may even do some Immune Testing at least where I had mine done that was standard....This is of course my thoughts but always do what you are comfortable with and whats best for you and your hubs...Take care....If you need anything just let me knowNick and Kristihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14537407923580887602noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6073547614166371090.post-54827638751267291252010-10-19T22:37:03.360-05:002010-10-19T22:37:03.360-05:00Ah shit. I think talking to your doc is a good first step. I also think that the most important thing when doing IVF is being at a topnotch place that has an absolutely topnotch lab. I just wanted to chime in as I had a HORRIBLE experience with SIRM--loved my first doc there but he left to form his own practice, his replacement got fired while we were in the midst of an IVF cycle, and his replacement was just plain mean (so 3 REs in 3 months which was not exactly ideal). I never met Dr Sher though so if you decide that's the right choice for you I'm sure your experience will be different. Good luck--these are not easy choices!Willowhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05319707316191000140noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6073547614166371090.post-36575119071793733482010-10-19T21:40:04.833-05:002010-10-19T21:40:04.833-05:00I'm so sorry. My two cents would be that if you do go the IVF route, you might as well go all the way with someone you have full confidence in.
