It's My Birthday!

It's my birthday - today I turn 36 years old. And it sounds old, doesn't it? Oh well, it's just a number. But it sounds so...adult! Overall, I'm fine with my birthday, and turning 36 - it's just another number, but it's my last year in my mid-30's... It makes me think though, would I be reacting differently if I wasn't pregnant? And the answer is definitely yes.

So I'm incredibly grateful to be pregnant - 17 weeks today - on my birthday. We're having a relaxing time, slept in, went to lunch, and then we'll go out to dinner with some friends. Hopefully my last kid-free birthday in a very long time!

    Happy birthday! I had a similar feeling in April when I turned 35--being pregnant makes it just a number. Sounds like a pleasant day--next year is going to be amazing. Except no-one will care about YOU anymore...

    Happy birthday! I don't know if it is helpful or depressing to think about the fact that one day you'll think about how YOUNG 36 was. I remember thinking I was practically ancient when I turned 27. Ha ha ha ha!

    happy belated birthday!! ahh..how did I miss this one! Did you do anything fun! I am so happy everything is going well with your little one. I am so nervous too! you know. There are so many nightmare stories. I am terrified between you and me. I am 8 weeks and every time I go to the computer..there is some sad story. It is such a miracle that we got pregnant!!
